As an official interpreter of English and Russian, I serve clients in Prague and throughout Central Bohemia (Středočeský kraj).

Under Czech law, all documents submitted to public authorities must be translated into Czech by an official translator. I translate diplomas, medical records, contracts, bank statements and other official documents into Czech. 

1. Establishing a company in the Czech Republic

If you wish to register a company in the Czech Republic, you will need an official interpreter to go with you to the notarial office.

2. Getting married in the Czech Republic

All documents you submit for your marriage application must be translated into Czech by an official translator. Bring the interpreter with you for filing the application and signing the paperwork at the municipality. An official interpreter must be present during the wedding ceremony as well.

3. Notarial deeds in the Czech Republic 

The presence of an official interpreter is required whenever the foreigner does not speak sufficient Czech to understand the nature of the legal transaction. Bringing an interpreter with you is not an unnecessary cost – the interpreter is there for you to make sure you understand what you are signing!
